TOWN OF HUNTINGTON
PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Planning Board of the Town of Huntington will hold several public Hearings on Monday, March 23, 2026 beginning at 6:00 pm in Stanton Hall for amendments to the Huntington Zoning Bylaw.
The public hearing is to amend the Zoning Bylaw Section IV T: GREEN COMMUNITY SOLAR BY-LAW ALLOWING BY-RIGHT SITING OF LARGE-SCALE GROUND-MOUNTED SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS. The amendments include 1) Adding a Definition of Large-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installations to Section I.F. Definitions of the Zoning Bylaw, 2) Adding a hyphen to “byright” at the end of the sentence "Specifications for installations not met within the parameters of Section IV-T are not allowed byright." to correct the spelling, and 3) Adding a new “D.” under “V. General”.
All text changes will be available for review by appointment in the Selectboard Office (during regular business hours) at the Town Hall, Wednesday, March 18, 2026. They will also be available for review at the Public Hearing.
